In the Blink of an Eye…
And 6 Years Later Here We Are! 

In early Summer 2018, it all started with a good friend trying to set us up on a blind date. Then after a few text messages, we managed a lunchtime ‘date’. Shortly after that, there were casual strolls, covert dog walks, breezy beach bike rides, and charming dinner dates that soon evolved into mountain biking adventures and wider escapades! ​

Then suddenly March 2020 happened, and lockdown arrived. Plans were adapted and our cozy "bubble" began. Monday and Friday were the official date nights.  Lockdown date nights were filled with sharing music playlists, talking about plans and dreams. Gourmet cooking (attempted), lots of laughing and lounging in the sun-soaked garden with a drink in hand were the new ‘normal’.​

Then, as quickly as it started, restrictions were lifted, passports were dusted off and we got back to traveling and LIVING again! Everyday life moved on with all the boys growing up fast. At the same time there were new opportunities and further career changes for all. A whirlwind of UK and international adventures ensued with London, Bath, York, Lake District, Chedder Gorge, Goodwood Revival to name a few! Further afield, Athens and Greek Islands, Lanzarote, Dublin, Dubrovnik, Croatian road trip and Sardina soon were ticked off the list along with the big one – South Africa to meet some of the family!!!!

John survived Kathryn’s photo-haulic tendencies. Kathryn learned how to pack a carry-on suitcase more efficiently. Both of us learned to live life BIGGER and FULLER in our new chapter. While we blossomed as a couple, our family lives started to include the occasional coming together for comfy movie nights, blended family adventures, meals out, and special celebrations. We are so thankful to have had a grace period for both families to find their feet.

​And then, things got seriously serious – getting engaged in Spring 2023 with Kathryn surprising John!!! Moving in together in Summer 2024 and NOW getting married Summer 2025! You have all been a big part of this journey with us. We sincerely thank you for your love and support. Now for the next chapter and new adventures!! Love J & K xx
